We also offer versions that include Washington, D.C., American Samoa, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, along with options featuring only embossed plates or plates that are at least 20 years old. Every set is hand selected, making each one unique.
Are the versions used in each different?
Yes! Every set includes one authentic license plate from each of the 50 states. Some states rarely change their license plate designs, while others introduce new designs much more frequently. Because our inventory is constantly changing, the years, colors, and designs naturally vary, making every set unique.
What condition options are available?
We generally sort our license plates into three primary condition categories:
• Roadkill – Heavy wear, bends, rust, or damage. We promise, these plates won't look any better in person. We intentionally separate them from the rest of our inventory and only use them in a few specialty sets. They're rough, but perfect for certain décor, craft projects, or anyone looking for maximum character. Fortunately, very few of our plates fall into this category.
• Craft/Worn – Honest wear from years on the road, but still solid and displayable. These are a popular choice for license plate maps, signs, and decorative projects. The vast majority of our inventory falls into this category.
• Good Condition – Cleaner plates with less wear, making them ideal for collecting and display. While this is a smaller portion of our inventory, we generally have high grading standards, so many customers are pleasantly surprised by the condition of the plates they receive in good condition.
