Here at Rustic Plates we have the honor of working with amazingly talented artists who use our license plates to make incredible works of art. We are delighted to partner with one of those artists to provide these hand built 34"x32" 50 state license plate maps. Each map is one of a kind. These maps make a great gift and are really focused on bright and contrasting colors. For this map, we also mix up many of the states to create a puzzle effect. For example, in the sample photo shown, Montana is actually represented by an Idaho plate. In addition to the map being an amazing piece of art, the puzzle effect creates a great conversation piece for guests who have fun identifying what plates were used. It's especially entertaining for kids and anyone who enjoys road trips or Americana!
We use 100% authentic license plates and every map is unique. The photo shown is a sample photo, meaning the map you receive will be similar in dimensions and build, but the license plates used will be different. The dimensions of the frame of each map are approximately 34"x32". Dimensions of the length and width can vary ever so slightly, about an inch depending on the acclimation of the wood, which is authentic reclaimed redwood from California.
These maps are made with care and packed extremely well for shipping. You can see from the sample photo the durability and craftsmanship that goes into each one.
Returns:
Given the size and shipping logistics of these maps and the fact that they are created by hand, we don't offer returns on them.
Delivery:
We strive for fast shipping. Most of our listings we ship next day using USPS. However, this is a large item packed carefully and typically shipped via UPS ground. Unless traveling, please allow us at least a few days to get this order packed and shipped.
Packaging:
License plates aren't the only things we want to keep out of landfills. We also use as much recycled or reused packaging as we can, from reused cardboard to corrugated sign material. These maps are shipped in reused, durable cardboard boxes.
